This project was created for the third LDC studio, Structures, Fall 2023. This studio focused on learning construction methods, understanding and specifying materials and drafting construction details. This one project resulted in a construction document packet detailing the location and construction methods for various hardscape components.
Katsky Residence - Construction Documents
Given a property and a program, I had one week to design a landscape for the clients that incorporated the elements they desired. The rest of the semester was dedicated to drafting the necessary construction details and documents required to build my design. This included details for natural and manufactured retaining walls, natural and manufactured patios, a deck, a shade structure and a water feature. The construction document also included a general notes page, materials schedule and an overall site plan.
