Design Principles
These projects were created for the second LDC studio, Principles of Landscape Design, Spring 2023. This studio focused on developing design techniques and methodology within a landscaping context. This studio utilized AutoCAD, Land F/X, Photoshop, Rhino and Lumion.
JW Marriott - Cancun Project
This project was a re-design of the JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Cancun, Mexico. After creating three preliminary designs, I chose to refine my radial-concentric plan as my final design. This plan had to include the specified buildings and ADA-compliant access ramps. In my design I wanted to preserve the ocean-view from the front desk and reception area and still provide convenient access for pool and beach goers.
Anderson Project
Given a property and a design program, I developed three initial concept designs. I chose my rectilinear design to refine further and used AutoCAD and Land F/X to produce a final rendered site plan. After adding elevations in Rhino, I used Lumion to produce rendered images and a fly-through video of the property.
Moore Residence
Given a site plan and design program, I produced two initial concept designs, two refined concept designs, and one final design. (Hand drawn).
